Who We Represent
Stone Bonner & Rocco LLP (“SBR”) represents individual and institutional investors, entrepreneurs and businesses of every size in complex litigation and arbitration involving mergers and acquisitions, the securities laws, consumer protection statutes, the antitrust laws, and a wide variety of business torts. The firm has also successfully represented victims of terrorism in some of the nation’s highest-profile cases, including securing a $1.8 billion recovery from Iran’s central bank and winning the first jury verdict against a financial institution for providing material support to a terrorist organization. The firm’s partners also regularly serve as lead counsel in class action lawsuits venued throughout the United States.
We provide clients with superior work product, creative strategies and solutions, and the ability to handle cases at every level of the state and federal trial and appellate courts.
Flexible Fee Arrangements
SBR works closely with its clients to devise flexible, economical fee arrangements. We frequently handle cases on a fully contingent basis or pursuant to hybrid hourly/contingent arrangements that align our financial interests with our clients’ objectives. We also employ innovative strategies to reduce legal fees in matters that we handle on a conventional hourly basis.
Recognized Leaders in Complex Litigation
We are a boutique litigation firm with demonstrated excellence in handling complex securities litigation, commercial litigation and class action lawsuits on behalf of corporate clients and individuals. We are recognized for our leadership and ability to handle cases in state and federal courts and before arbitral bodies, and we enjoy an outstanding reputation in the Bar for our sophisticated work product, creative strategies and commitment to pursuing clients’ objectives.
SBR and its lawyers have repeatedly received recognition as outstanding commercial and complex litigation lawyers. SBR and its co-counsel were named 2016 “Trial Lawyers of the Year” by Public Justice for their work on behalf of American victims of terrorism in Linde v. Arab Bank. That award “recognizes the work of an attorney or team of attorneys working on behalf of individuals and groups that have suffered injustice and harmful abuse.”
All of the firm’s partners also appear consistently on the New York Super Lawyers list.
